MELT is a simple and gentle way to help you restore your potential to heal and reduce pain. Angel Ortloff, LMT certified in the “Melt Method”, will be providing weekly classes on the new “The Melt Method” of self-care. MELT developer Hitzman shows how connective tissue dehydration is a prime cause of daily aches, stiffness and strain that leads to pain, weight gain, sleep problems and many seemingly unrelated issues.
As you MELT the hands and feet your focus is to breath into the point you are compressing with the ball. This will send a message to the nervous system and trigger the “hydration effect” via the fascia which allows the stress reflex to quiet down in the body. With this simple method you stimulate the receptors that are responsible for whole body balance and hydration.
By simply using several specially designed rubber balls you can massage the connective tissue (or fascia) that contains nerves that control many of our physical responses. In only a few minutes a day of massaging the hands and feet with the MELT technique, pain is reduced and greater flexibility achieved, and if you are hydrated, it is possible to feel a “whole body” greater sense of well-being.
