Peak spa experience. I'm a spa hound. I just love experiencing a new place, a new treatment, and sinking into that wonderful sense of relaxation. So I've been to spas, both east coast and west, and this is definitely right up among the top spots.
The atmosphere is calming, beautifully designed, impeccably clean and well managed. A bit of an Asian design influence and the essence of tranquility. The staff are delightful, and I've had a number of massages and facials, of various kinds, and they've been wonderful. Would particularly recommend CJ, who is a magician, especially for those seeking a very deep, very healing massage. Jack is also great.
Also, their product lines are great, but the ones I particularly love are Eminence and Naturopathica... they all seem good enough to eat, and the aromas are heavenly.

"A wonderful retreat! River Rock is a wonderful place to escape "reality" and be pampered for a while! The spa is immaculate, peaceful, and the staff make you feel welcome. I have had 2 massages and a facial there and all were uniquely different but very effective and relaxing. Treat Yourself. River Rock Health Spa is a true Oasis for physical, emotional, and spiritual health. From the time I slipped on the Japanese style slippers and comfortable robe I started to relax. I?ve experienced 3 of River Rock?s licensed massage therapists and they were each superb. I appreciate the attention to detail and the dozens of different massage styles to choose from. My favorite: the hot rock massage.

My Favorite Place Around. I live about 20 minutes from the spa and the place is like heaven. I am a big guy, a former football player and CJ is the only therapist around that can give me a satisfactory deep tissue massage.
Perhaps the best thing about the spa is the time in the sauna and the time spent relaxing with a cup of tea after in the relaxation room
River rock is a must see and a spa gift certificate for the holidays is a perfect gift.
